Treatment Scope
Ear laser hair removal is limited to visible external hair on the outer ear, including the lobes, helix, antihelix, concha, and tragus where appropriate. Hair inside the ear canal is not treated. Beam protects the canal during treatment and assesses which external hairs can be reached appropriately.
This is an external-ear service, not treatment of the ear canal. During consultation, your specialist reviews the exact location, hair color, and texture before determining whether laser is appropriate.
How Many Ear Laser Hair Removal Sessions Are Needed?
A series of treatments is needed because individual hairs move through different growth stages. We plan your series around your hair characteristics, goals, and response. Some clients need additional sessions or maintenance.
Hair color, texture, density, and the area treated affect the plan. Coarse, pigmented hair generally makes a more predictable target than fine, lightly pigmented, gray, white, or red hair. Your complimentary consultation with test patches helps us discuss suitability and realistic expectations.

Does Ear Laser Hair Removal Hurt?

Ear Laser Hair Removal for Different Skin Tones
We use Candela GentleMax Pro Plus laser technology and settings tailored to your skin tone, hair characteristics, and response over time.
The platform offers Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths. Your specialist assesses the skin of the actual treatment area, including pigmentation and recent sun exposure, before choosing the wavelength and settings. A recent tan or changes in your skin may affect whether treatment should proceed.
How to Prepare for Ear Laser Hair Removal
Avoid waxing or tweezing ear hair for at least eight weeks before treatment. Ask Beam how to trim the external area beforehand rather than trying to shave inside the ear. Tell us about medications, recent skin changes, or irritation.

What to Expect After Treatment
Temporary redness, warmth, sensitivity, or mild swelling around treated follicles may occur. Treated hairs shed gradually after the appointment; do not pull them out.
Avoid picking, rubbing, or irritating treated external skin while sensitivity resolves. Follow your specialist’s instructions and contact Beam if your reaction is unexpected or worsening. Do not wax or tweeze between visits.
